Is there any chance to move some of the actual content from PDF to HTML?

Most web browsers don't do a good job of handling PDF inline. Have the documents it both formats would be nice.

Cheers,
Will

Which content? Most of the raw content is in either Word or Excel files, and I hate (with a passion) the HTML those products generate. And I don't have time to hand create the HTML myself.

Yeah - word and excel don't produce nice HTML... Or at least didn't.
There is now a filtered HTML mode. It produces relatively clean HTML with integrated CSS styles. It would be better if the CSS was separate but the HTML is much much cleaner (This is just the HTML - I cut out the style portion of the file):
<body lang=EN-US>

<div class=WordSection1>

<div style='border:none;border-bottom:solid #4F81BD 1.0pt;padding:0in 0in 4.0pt 0in'>

<p class=MsoTitle>This is a test…</p>

</div>

<h1>I want to see what the HTML looks like…</h1>

<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:
normal'>My dream boats:</p>

<p class=MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst style='text-indent:-.25in'><span

Home link also produces and error.

The home link above the masthead is looking for flyc.org/flyc/flyc not flyc.org/flyc

At least some of the links in the Events page take you to the old hostname.

For example the Cam Cup link...
http://flycorg0.w05.winh...m/flyc/camellia-cup.aspx

Fixed this the easy way... I took out the home link!

Actually, it's on my list of things to research and figure out why. I suspect it's because the CMS is living in the flyc sub directory, and this link is automagically generated (unlike the rest). I think I'll need to move it all out of the subdirectory, but I'm afraid of how much I'll break!

I'm leaving that exercise for another day!

Fixed. I had to change the CMS's thought on what the URL was...

Much better... Still wondering which content you think would be better in html?

I don't think we want to do any of the pages that people might want to print out (results, registration forms, etc.), since they would probably print the entire page, not just the form. Yeah, I know there's the printable view link, but will people notice that?

Plus, there is the issue of consistency...

I think I'm going to put this up as our first poll, since we should test the poll software!
